ThanksThrowing Free Beach Hat Tournament was a fun day!

This past Thanksgiving Holiday we threw a one day beach hat tournament on Sunday November 25th, 2018 at the usual LA Beach League fields. Since Beach League is off for the holiday weekend, lots of players come to LA to visit family and friends, and we had perfect weather, it was a the perfect day to get four teams together and play three games to work off those Thanksgiving overindulgences. We starting by having a short gender equity discussion to choose the optimal format for mixed beach ultimate that was most inclusive and gave the female players plenty of playing time without exhaustion. Teams in the Gender end zone chose the gender ratio for that point.  The four teams were Turkeys, Stuffing, Grits and Greens.
